Psoriasis & Paediatric Psoriasis

Enbrel® is approved across 6 indications, including paediatric indications.¹

  • Enbrel® is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with chronic moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy1

Paediatric plaque PsO

  • Enbrel® is indicated for the treatment of chronic severe plaque psoriasis in children and adolescents from the age of 8 years who are inadequately controlled by, or are intolerant to other systemic therapies or photo therapies1

Treatment with Enbrel® in PsO is not associated with significant changes in the levels of triglycerides, HDL, LDL or total cholesterol.2,*

Enbrel® showed significant improvement in PASI scores after 24 weeks.

Onset of action seen as early as 12 weeks for etanercept in improving scalp symptoms.

§The recommended dose of Etanercept is 25 mg administered twice weekly or 50 mg administered once weekly.
||Etanercept 50 mg BIW can be used for patients with severe psoriasis for upto 12 weeks followed by 25 mg BIW or 50 mg OW thereafter.
